Our Precious little Leah was born on the 22nd April 1996 at 1:08pm weighing 9lbs and was 59cm long. 

She was the beautiful daughter of proud parents, Gaynor and Gary Rumney.

Leah was taken to the Children’s Hospital with a suspected heart defect. It was there that Leah was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and under went emergency heart surgery for several hours.

Leah was so brave for someone so little. She had the courage of a lion. Leah captured the hearts of all the medical team, and the care she received at Birmingham Children’s Hospital could not be faulted. They worked so hard with love and devotion to help Leah. Sadly, our little precious Leah went to sleep with the Angels on the 12th May 1996.
